Data controller

The data controller is Quantum System. For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].

The Quantum System account you sign in with is a central account shared by all Quantum System apps. The account itself (name, username, e-mail, password, linked sign-in methods) is covered by the central privacy policy: https://quansystem.com/en/privacy/

Data we process

When you use the app we process only the data needed to provide the service:

• Account data: identifier, name, username and e-mail from your Quantum System account; your theme and language preferences.
• App profile: optional details such as grade/level, target exam and whether you are a teacher.
• Notebook content: the cards you add (questions, formulas, concepts, vocabulary, notes), subject/topic/set information, your answers, error reasons and notes.
• Photos and documents: question photos, PDFs you generate and files you upload (PDF, Word, images).
• Review data: your review history, ratings, streak and statistics.
• Reminders and routines: reminder times, habits, timer logs, journal and mood notes.
• Social data: friendships, friend requests, blocks, shares, and the solutions and comments you write.
• Teacher data: classes you create in teacher mode and the student information the teacher enters (name or number, missed-question records, notes).
• Device data: your device’s notification token for sending notifications, language and time zone.

Why we process data

• To let you sign in and sync your notebook across your devices.
• To calculate your spaced repetition plan and send reminder and daily summary notifications.
• To run sharing, solution and comment features with your friends.
• To let teachers follow their classes and the questions their students couldn’t solve.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.

Our legal bases are performance of the service contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)), our legitimate interests (security, troubleshooting; GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where required, your consent (e.g. notification permission).

Where data is stored and who we share it with

• Cards, photos and documents are stored in Cloudflare R2 storage in the European Union region; images are accessed only through time-limited signed links.
• Push notifications are delivered via Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM); only the device token and the notification content are sent to FCM.
• Authentication runs through the Quantum System account server; if you choose to sign in with Google or Microsoft, those providers’ own privacy terms also apply.
• Content you share is visible only to the friends you choose and to the teacher of a class you joined.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell or rent it. We do not share it with third parties unless required by law.

Retention

We keep your data until your account or your MyEduLife data is deleted. When you request deletion, data is deleted within minutes and photos and documents are removed from storage. Records subject to a legal retention obligation are kept only for that period.

Student data entered by teachers

In teacher mode, information about students is entered by the teacher. The teacher is responsible for following their school’s rules and applicable law when entering it; numbers or an unnamed head count can be used instead of names. This data is visible only in that teacher’s account and is deleted when the teacher deletes the class or their account.

Children

MyEduLife is designed for students. Where the law of your country requires it (for example under 13, or below the applicable age of digital consent), you should use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Parents can write to [email protected] to have their child’s data deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and KVKK you have the right to:

• Know whether your data is processed and get a copy of it.
• Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
• Have your data deleted (you can also do this yourself in the app).
• Object to processing and ask for processing to be restricted.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw your consent at any time (e.g. turn off notifications).
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority.

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Session tokens are kept in secure storage on your device; files are accessed only through time-limited links. No system is perfect; in case of a security breach we will inform you and the relevant authority as required by law.

This promotional website uses no cookies and does no visitor tracking. The language you pick is stored only in your browser.
